It is getting posts everyday and even has a adsense sharing revenue which lets you put your publisher ID from adsense into your profile and displays your ad sometimes on the website. SEO can be one of the most easiest and most frustrating things to improve your arcade website. SEO which is shortened from Search Engine Optimization. People who use SEO try to increase the ranking of there website pages in search engines like google and yahoo. The higher someones page ranks the more free traffic they may receive.

SEO does not guarantee results to get free traffic though, This is why it may be frustrating. However if you do know what you are doing and have read a lot into it you may find it very easy. This post will hopefully give you a good insight to what you can do to increase your SEO and get some positive results.

Content
Search engines loves content, The more content you have the more search engines love you. You might be thinking “I have heaps of games on my websites thats a lot of content”, but search engines dont notice you have games on your website they do however notice text on your website which is what you can improve. Make the game description and title sound exciting and resemble the game.

Example:
Game Description: “Click the ball to make it bounce without losing.”
Game Description: “Make the yellow ball bounce all around the screen without it going below the bottom of the screen. Make sure you get the most amount of clicks you can so that you can get the highest score!”

See how much better the second one sounds as well as it has more words for search engines to read? If you think it’s good to read im sure the search engines will think the same thing. Just remember content is king.

Site Design and Navigation
Easy to navigate and clean looking websites are great to keep visitors returning. Annoying websites with pop-ups and unreasonable colors aren’t what people want to see when they visit a website, Which makes people leave your website straight away and never returning. Also keep in mind you want people to be able to navigate around your website easily and to make your website look the same in all web browsers (Mozilla fire fox, google chrome, Microsoft Internet explorer).

A good idea to ad to your arcade website is a site map. These are used by bots/spiders of search engines to gather data and links about your website which improves you SEO.

Page Size
Do you like scrolling left to see a website?
Do you like scrolling right to the bottom of the page to get the information you need?

If you said yes to one of those questions, You have alot of patiance and if you like it that much you do this on your website you are a terrable arcade webmaster. The majority of people hate large pages, You should always keep pages as little as they need to be. It is also alot easier for users to keep focused on your game and content if the page is smaller.

Keyword Density
Keyword density is how frequently a keyword or phase appears in the text of a web page. Sometimes when a website has more the word or phase appears the higher you will rank in the search engine. Although this sounds simple and easy to do, Putting too many keywords or phases on  a page can penalize your rank and make even blacklist you from some certain search engines. The best way to make sure you don’t have the same keyword or phase to read the content you have ans see if it makes sense. If it doesn’t you have written it to many times.
